2) Idealistic reasons rather. She still went to school, but I think the reason for leaving lays in that she didn't belive in the school system. She thought that it was intsitutionalizing. I think she'll try to prove the possibility of 'American Dream' in Europe, succeeding with one's own talents without any diplomas or bureaucracy.


3) Madness! She thinks she's some misunderstood renaissance genious who makes the rules! Hmph! Work has been fought for, and one cannot have it without education! Especially for youngsters a proper job is hard to get, and she is too proud to come bach humiliated.
4) To get to workinglife as fast as possible and forget about civilizing oneself. Heads of state complain about over education- don't they understand thirst of knowledge? School should be like Plato's Academy. Eventhough it was an institution, institution would be beneficial. Comprehensive school- the basis of a welfare state.
5)Unbiased teaching guarantees studying opportunities to a hardworkin student. Student exchange programmes! Easy transportation within the EU! Europe is open! But the young have got fear. Masseducation sets challenges for a mediocre one. 500 similar guys apply for the same job as you and 5000 more in India that work more cheaply. And old farts try to make employmen even harder for youngsters. We live new times of uncertainty. What was your question again?
